Top spot for Customer Experience for SIXTH Consecutive Year

Credit Unions win the Best Customer Experience Award for an unparalleled sixth consecutive year

For the sixth consecutive year, credit unions have claimed pole position for the best customer experience in Ireland at the official CXi awards announced today. Credit unions have strengthened their reputation as Ireland’s undisputed CX champions by not just taking the top spot again this year, but by also extending their lead at the top of the table.

The CXi Report is published annually by the CX Company based on a survey carried out on their behalf by Amárach Research. Amárach surveyed 2,500 Irish consumers who rated their customer experiences of 151 brands across ten sectors. Credit unions were deemed the overall winners with the highest scores across the six pillars of Customer Experience – Personalisation, Integrity, Expectations, Time & Effort, Empathy and Resolution.

Credit unions also topped the poll for best financial brand and the best brand for loyalty
Michael Killeen, Chairman of the CX Company, said, “Once again I have to congratulate Irish credit unions for their consistently high performance not only for winning for the sixth year in a row but for also widening the gap between themselves and the rest of the competition. This is a phenomenal achievement and really sets the gold standard for other Irish and global companies to emulate. The credit unions continue to set world records which I have no doubt is primarily down to their member or customer-centric approach. Other companies take note!”

This is an extraordinary achievement for credit unions. As an essential service, we at Swinford & District Credit Union Ltd have remained open and have put in place a number of services for our members during this COVID-19 pandemic and we will continue to stay open under the new Level 5 restrictions. We are very proud of the excellent member experience we provide here at Swinford & District Credit Union Ltd. It’s Junior Savers Week! October 5th – 11th 2020

Swinford & District Credit Union Ltd are encouraging children to start saving with their local credit union!

The credit union launches its ‘Junior Savers Week’ this week (October 5th – 11th) which aims to encourage the importance of saving for the future.

Research shows that how we behave around money as adults is learned early on from our parents.  Implementing good money habits for children early on helps them understand the importance of financial responsibility.  So it is never too early for children to start learning prudent financial behaviour!

Bobbi, our new Junior Saver character will be helping us to share her story about saving during the week, and will be giving some great advice along the way!

Swinford & District Credit Union Ltd want to ensure that our future generations are financially educated and empowered.  Teaching children the value of money is a real benefit to them in the future and habits learned from an early age last a lifetime.

We want to encourage the development of a regular savings habit during Junior Savers Week and want to encourage all children to join us here at the credit union and open their very first savings account!

Congratulations to our latest Winners!
